Moscow to Kazan High-speed Rail Project to Strengthen the Cooperation Between China and Russia

The first vice president of Russian Railways company Alexander Michalin recently said that China would provide investment and suggestions to Moss Kazan High-speed Rail project in January 2015, they would negotiate the major conditions for China's participation in projects in early April.

The line with a length of 770km can shorten 11.5 hours to 3.5 hours from departure station to terminus. The total cost is estimated at 1.068 trillion rubles (more than 180 million USD). Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said recently that the government decided to allocate 6 billion rubles on engineering survey and drafting design document.
