The 5th China (Changchun) Rail Traffic Expo will be held at the Changchun International Conference and Exhibition Center in Changchun, capital of Northeast China’s Jilin province, from Sept 20 to 22.

The event, which was first held in 2014, is hosted by the Changchun committee of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and receives additional support from the Jilin Provincial People’s Government and the Changchun municipal people’s government.

It aims to promote the development of rail transit and revitalize industry in Changchun and Northeast China.

The expo will showcase the latest development of rail transit and work to make Changchun China’s rail transit manufacturing hub.

Fifty large companies, six universities, five research institutes, and 50 urban rail transit management companies in China, including CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles Co Ltd, one of China’s leading companies in the development of automatic rail technology, will attend this year’s event.

The expo will cover an area of 12,000 square meters, and around 5,000 people are expected to participate.

The expo will highlight the latest achievements in the rail sector, included the maglev train developed by CRRC Changchun.

A rail traffic manufacturing industry forum, rail exhibitions, and a meeting between companies and universities to provide job opportunities for students will also be held during the event.
