The CR400AF-Z intelligent bullet train departed from Guiyangdong Railway Station and headed towards Nanningdong Railway Station on Jan 10, marking its debut on the Guiyang-Nanning High-Speed Railway.

This train is a high-end model in the Fuxing high-speed train series, consisting of eight standard carriages. It has a total length of 208.95 meters, a width of 3.36 meters, and a height of 4.05 meters. With a capacity of 578 passengers, it can reach a maximum continuous speed of 350 kilometers per hour.

In terms of intelligence, the train is equipped with a comprehensive perception system. With over 2,500 sensors spread throughout the train, it forms an all-around safety monitoring network that allows for the real-time monitoring of its running condition, bearing temperature, cooling system temperature, brake system status, and interior environment.

In terms of informatization, the train has achieved full Wi-Fi coverage inside the carriages. The number of charging ports for mobile phones under the seats has increased, and USB charging ports have been added alongside the two-pin sockets.

In terms of saving energy, the train's energy consumption is reduced by 7.5 percent at a minimum compared to the standard version of the Fuxing bullet train.

Furthermore, while maintaining the same number of seats, the CR400AF-Z has increased the distance between seats in the first class from 1.10 meters to 1.16 meters, and the seat length in the second class has been extended by 2 centimeters.

To meet the needs of more passengers, the fourth carriage of the train is equipped with a barrier-free restroom, a space for large luggage storage, and a dedicated area for passengers with disabilities.
